He had been an agent with a residential address at 1222 Roscoe Street in 1900 and 1901. Greater New York Stereo Co. was not found in directories or advertisements in Chicago. A stereo view in the New York Public Library collection is copyrighted 1898 by Alfred S. Campbell, manufactured and published by Greater New York Stereo Co., and "aold exclusively through E. M. Brown." Neither Brown nor the Stereo Co. were positively identified in directories of New York in 1898 or surrounding years.
