Hamacher & Loring was a partnership of Ephraim J. Hamacher and Henry K. Loring. In a death notice from June 13, 1916, Loring was described as having been a railroad station agent in Walla Walla, though it does not say when. It also noted that he had worked in Boston both before and after he was in Washington. He was 69 and a resident of Antrim, New Hampshire when he died. He was found on the 1885 Washington state census, though no occupation was given.
