The Corte-scope Co. was incorporated in Cleveland, Ohio in 1915 with $125,000 capital. The were described as "Binocular, Microscopic Photographers" and manufacturers. In 1919 they published a series of Corte-Scope Golf views, which were to be projected, and were instructional images of Jock Hutchison demonstrating proper technique. Other instructional series included knot tying and poultry husbandry. Harry N. Clark, the company's president, was prominent in the YMCA organization, and lectured on Christian principles in business.
