Engle & Furlong were itenerant photographers who took views in Florida, Georgia and as far north as Maryland. The partners were John F. Engle and James Furlong; Engle's wife Belle was a colorist. All three were boarding together in Fernandina, Florida in 1870. By 1876, Engle was located in Tarboro, North Carolina.
