Benjamin Pierce Batchelder

MaleBenjamin Pierce Batchelder was one of three brothers who all took up photography in the mid 1840s in Boston. By 1851, he had relocated to California. He made a couple of trips to Australia, spending the bulk of the 1860s in Sandhurst, Victoria before returning and settling in Stockton, California for the remainder of his career.
