Jabez E. Walcott was a stereoscope manufacturer at 289 Washington Street in Boston, 1865 and 1866. In 1865, that was also the address of the American Stereoscopic Co., which is not found again in Boston directories. The 1904 volume Obsolete American Securities and Corporations lists a company of that name, established in Massachusettts (no date) which dissolved in 1872.
