MaleI. L. Teliga advertised his Jackson, Mississippi daguerrean room in the November 23, 1840. He is known to have worked in Indianapolis, Indiana by 1846, and advertisements in 1949 in Evansville indicate that he had practiced in Cincinnati, Ohio as well. In July of 1858 he left for Europe, naming Mr. S. Donnell as his successor. Passport paperwork indicated that he was a native of Poland, and a naturalized US citizen. On September 20, 1878 he was issued a US Passport in Vienna, though it was unclear whether he returned.
