Arion Putnam

Arion Putnam is listed in the graduating class of 1888-89 from New York's Chautauqua School of Photography, and doesn't show up in Los Angeles records until 1892. His obituary states he started his career as a commercial photographer in Los Angeles in 1891. The same source also states he came to Southern California in 1888. (which is conflicting). He was the Official Photographer of the Southern Pacific Railroad.
