The Jones Studio was a multi-generational Washington studio with a branch in Hoquiam (established by William L. Jones in 1913) and another in Aberdeen (established the following year by his son Bliss B. Jones). The Anderson & Middleton Company purchased the collection after the death of Greg Jones in 2003. William L. Jones was born in Wales about 1860, emigrated in 1876 and was naturalized in 1881. His wife Grace Jones was also listed as a photographer on the 1920 census.
