Maude De Haven Ogan

FemaleMaude De Haven Ogan was a correspondent for Washington newspapers before relocating to New York by 1904. In 1906 she made a fortune in the stock market and bought a Nevada goldmine. It is not clear when she took up photography, but a 1916 city directory lists her as "artist". In 1922 she suffered multiple bouts of "nervous depression" and died, age 40, in a sanitarium in Englewood, New Jersey.
