William Penn Bacon was a photographer in Rome, New York from 1880 to about 1885. He was then a photographer in Oneida, but became a dealer of home furnishings and crockery by 1887. He had returned to photography in 1898, or perhaps he'd never stopped. He was listed as a photographer in Syracuse in the 1900 census, and had studios there at least until 1910.
