American, 1828-1892

Male

View raw data

Greene was born in Vermont in 1828, possibly lived in Lowell, MA until 1851 or 1852, when he and his wife, Clara moved to Chicago. Greene first worked as a die cutter or engraver for William C. Greene & Co. (149 Lake Street) from at least 1859 to 1860. In 1861 and 1862, city directories indicate that the firm also offers photographs (I do not find either Plymon or WIlliam for 1863 or 1864).
