Lorenzo D. Gibson was a tanner in Gloversville, New York at the time of the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. Stamps on the versos of stereoscopic views of the fair taken by Benjamin West Kilburn indicate that he was a "special agent" for selling these photographs. It is not known that he had any other involvemnet in photography.
