View raw data

Isidor Yog arrived in the US from Germany in March of 1889 and was naturalized on October 9, 1900. He had photo studios in New York from 1891 through the end of his life in 1913, though he occasionally disappeared from the business directories. Additionally he seems to have briefly had a studio in Rochester. He advertised in Mother Earth, Emma Goldman's anarchist journal. Yog's wife, Sophia, was Goldman's aunt, and Goldman visited the Yogs on the afternoon of her release from prison in 1894.
