Sam Stone Bush

MaleSam Stone Bush published an account of the Klondike Gold Rush of 1897 in the Review of Reviews (vol. 17, 1898). The article is illustrated with photographs taken by Bush and by J. F. Pratt (also in the NYPL collection). A Samuel Stone Bush, a retired realtor born February 12, 1864 in Louisville, KY, jumped to his death from the tenth floor of the Heyburn Building in Louisville, November 22, 1934. It is inconclusive whether this is the same man.
