Jacob Pasevitch left his native Russia and arrived in New York aboard the Nevada from Hamburg, Germany on August 15, 1881. In 1897 he was a photographer in Flagstaff, Arizona and advertised a sale on plates and card photographs in advance of his relocation. By 1892 he was a photographer in Ogden, Utah, and subsequently in Oklahoma City , Cross Plaine, Texas, and Corpus Christi, where in 1923 he was naturalized a US citizen. He died in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma on December 26, 1926.
