Fleda L. Griffith

FemaleGriffith began as a colorist of lantern slides in Dayton, Ohio. She and her sister Ethel continued as photographers in New York and New Jersey in the 1910s and 1920s. By 1940, Fleda Griffith has established a specialty of botanical photographs (and watercolors). She was staff photographer for the New York Botanical Gardens. She died in Washington, DC in March of 1962.
